Cesarean Section (C-Section)

This 3D medical animation shows a normal cesarean section (c-section) surgery to deliver a baby in frank breech (feet first) position. Two types of incisions are clearly shown; a low vertical incision and the more common low transverse incision (bikini cut). The baby and placenta are both removed through the uterine incision. The incision on the uterus and abdomen are then both closed. ANS00178
